Penny Saved, Inc. is a personally-owned business comprised of a starving FCPS teacher and some of his students. We are very active primarily during the summer months due to our summer vacation, but we are also available most weekends during the school year. We can provide a number of different handyman & home improvement services. We will also tailor our services to meet your specific needs. If you don't see what you need done, please don't hesitate to ask.
We will stand by our work & guarantee no job will be finished until you are satisified. As we are a small group, we complete one job at a time. We schedule one job at a time, so that we never sprea ourselves so thin that a job gets rushed & overlooked.

|
We, you might, but to be honest, Penny Saved is named in remembrance of a sweet little puppy that passed away on February 26, 2008. At the time of her passing, Penny was just short of 10 weeks old. We suspect Penny was the product of a puppy mill and due to the poor treatment she received, the insufficient vaccinations, and premature separation from her mother, she fell victim to the canine parvovirus. Despite our best efforts, the perpetrator of Penny's untimely death has yet to make reparations or receive prosecution by the authorities. We had her a mere 8 days. Four of those days were spent in isolation.
To help fight the battle against puppy mills, as well as the inhumane treatment of dogs, we will donate a portion of our yearly profits to a local rescue foundation, A Forever Home. A Forever Home is where we turned to adopt our most recent addition to our family and we hope that you may do the same when you're ready to bring a dog into your life.
